pixThe INTARA Television and Radio Festival is the essential annual event for everyone working in television and radio.

Shaping the future of our industry by debating the key issues of the day, the Festival opens doors to learn from the best in the business and build relationships within the TV and Radio community. Engaging, vibrant and fun, INTARA Television and Radio Festival is a sociable experience that celebrates success and is committed to the development of new talent.

Founded in 2009 the maiden event is scheduled to take place 1st to 4th December 2010. The Festival is to be held annually with the Nation’s Television Awards taking place on the last day of the festival, which should be the first Saturday in the month of December.

Featuring prominent industry voices, the Festival is packed with individual sessions covering the most pertinent issues facing the industry from policy to program making, alongside plenty of fun sessions to make sure the event is enjoyable and informative.

The wide ranging program involves television and radio professionals from around the world who will partake in provocative seminars, inspiring Master Classes, unique pitching opportunities and more. Keynote lectures, preview screenings, master classes, interviews and networking parties, which make for a stimulating Festival event.

The Festival expects attendance of delegates from home and abroad. Delegates representing the full spectrum of the industry - from controllers and commissioners to producers, directors, marketers, advertising companies, new media companies, distributors and press.

The INTARA Television and Radio Festival is billed to be one of the most important television and radio content creation event and 2010 will mark the inaugural edition of this annual forum of business and creative opportunities for those in television and radio.

The 2010 Festival will take place December 1 - 4, 2010. The Festival combines a prestigious Pilot Program Competition, and the Nation’s Radio and Television Awards, with a comprehensive conference agenda. This marketplace of ideas is expected to generate co-production deals, enable new business relationships and bring to light future trends of the industry. As well as honouring excellence in the nation’s television and radio industries, the Festival provides a platform for industry members to network, discuss and debate, and to explore current issues and challenges.
